ABSTRACT

Anaesthetic management of the neurosurgical patient should be guided according the findings of the pre-anaesthetic evaluation. Its objective is to anticipate and to correct secondary adverse events due to patient morbidity with appropriate resources and techniques and specialized medical support in the preoperative and postoperative scenario, with the aim to guarantee an interdisciplinary management of the patient.
