ABSTRACT

The quality of all the formation processes in the medical sciences, including the international academic management constitutes a priority inside the mission of each health university center in Cuba. In particular, the process of internationalization allows a bigger visibility from the Cuban institutions to foster the processes of cultural exchange, the solidarity with other countries and to show the essential image of the Revolution and its achievements abroad, that’s why to value this management is of essential significance to evaluate the quality of the university mission in this aspect. A methodology was designed in Villa Clara University of Medical Sciences, since the academic year 2013-2014, as a self valuation alternative that contributes to the improvement of the management of institutional quality and allows enlarging the horizon of the international collaboration. To mean its importance and relevancy is the fundamental objective of this communication.
