ABSTRACT

Objective: to describe the positive results in the oral presentation of the scientific research of non-Spanishspeaking students from the implementation of the program of the Specialized Conferences of the subject Information Sources and Information Technology.
Method: the characteristics of the Student Scientific Research are related from the importance of it in the integral formation of the professionals that are formed in the higher medical education. The objectives and content system of the Specialized Conferences are presented: Student scientific research; it is deepened in the Topic III related to the oral presentation of a scientific investigation, the positive and negative criteria expressed by the students at the end of the cycle are identified.
Results: the conclusion of the percentage analysis of the grades obtained in the course work is expressed by number of students.
Conclusions: the objective proposed by the authors is confirmed from evidencing as a positive experience the development of the Specialized Conferences.
